Healthy Banana Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Yields: 15 cookies

The recognizable cozy spices and plump raisins make them even more irresistible. They will keep for at least one week if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator--should they last that long!


1 cup (100g) instant oats (fermented if required and quantified like that )

3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or gluten-free* flour (quantified like this)

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter or coconut oil, melted and cooled slightly

1/4 cup (63g) mashed banana

1 teaspoon vanilla extract



1/4 cup (40g) raisins

In a medium bowlwhisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the butter or coconut oil, mashed banana, and vanilla. Stir in the maple syrup. Add the flour mixture, stirring only until incorporated. Fold in the raisins.
